Young AI Leaders Linz is a youth-led initiative and part of the global Young AI Leaders Community of AI for Good, convened by the United Nations International Telecommunication Union (ITU). The Linz hub works with students, young professionals and partner organisations on practical initiatives around responsible AI: education programmes, hackathons, research and innovation projects, and dialogue across academia, industry, policy and civil society.

The hub is active in European and international networks, including the European Commission's Apply AI Alliance, the Pact for Skills, the UNESCO Media and Information Literacy Alliance, Catalyst Now and UNESCO's Global Civil Society Organizations (CSO) and Academic Network on AI Ethics and Policy.
